Preparation
Wet hair thoroughly
Apply and work into a lather, leaving on for 1-5 minutes depending on how much toning you want
Rinse thoroughly - the purple tint rinses out, leaving only the toning effect
Use 1-3 times a week rather than daily

Overuse can leave hair looking too ashy or even slightly purple/grey - start with once a week and adjust based on your hair's response.
